All EfM graduates will automatically become members of the Alumni/ae association. Graduates will receive an EfM Alumni/ae Association lapel pin along with their graduation certificates with the hope that members will wear the pin to church and elsewhere to be ambassadors for the EfM program.

EfM Alumni/ae Association members will:

  • Receive the EfM AlumNews electronic newsletter and select electronic communications from the University of the South;
  • Receive invitations to local, regional, and Sewanee-area events;
  • Be entitled to subscribers access to Oxford Biblical Studies Online for reference and continued study.

If you are interested in helping bring together EfM alumni/ae in your local area for networking and fellowship, contact associate director for operations Joshua Booher.

Support the EfM Scholarship Fund

The EfM Alumni/ae Association was introduced at the 2012 General Convention of the Episcopal Church in Indianapolis as a fundraiser for the EfM Scholarship Fund to help EfM participants in need of financial assistance. Although the $25 contribution is no longer required to join the Association, you are welcome to make a gift to the EfM Scholarship Fund. You are also welcome to indicate that the gift is in honor of someone. Please use this form to donate. Gifts to the EfM Scholarship Fund will be acknowledged by the University for tax purposes. Names of the givers will appear in EfM AlumNews once a year.
