The Founding and Future of the Eco-Region Initiative

Eco-Region Networks are the new, grassroots approach to creation-care and environmental justice that the Episcopal Church is taking, and are partnerships of dioceses and communities based on shared ecosystems, watersheds, or environmental concerns. These networks will support regional and local grassroots environmental ministries based on ecological regions. Four networks have already begun work, and other networks are currently being developed among dioceses across the United States and in Province IX as well.
