On May 8, graduating students from the School of Theology, University of the South, received their degrees via a virtual Conferring of Degrees video.
The video begins with a montage of photos of the graduates engaged in community and academic life during their residential time in Sewanee. It ends with video well-wishes from the teaching faculty.
The degree recipient's names are read by Dean Neil Alexander followed by Vice-Chancellor John McCardell addressing the students with words of gratitude and Godspeed. Provost Nancy Berner reads the names of the selected students that received academic honors and prizes.

· The School of Theology Prize in Episcopal Preaching Foundation Award: Michele Simmons, Diocese of Colorado
