Schola Cantorum

The Schola Cantorum of the School of Theology is the University of the South’s premier chamber choir. The Schola’s membership is open to all members of the Sewanee community by audition. Founded in 2016 by Kenneth Miller, the Schola forms the backbone of the Seminary Choir, and also sings for an array of additional services including weekly choral Evensongs. They have been invited to sing two week-long choral residencies in July 2022 at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh, and Westminster Abbey, London. Additional recordings are available on the Schola’s YouTube page.
