1. Q – "The mailing label on the envelope included my spouse. Is the program for couples, or for ordained clergy only?"
A – The program is limited to ordained clergy. We apologize for any confusion caused by the mailing label.
2. Q – "I am not an Episcopalian, or a graduate of the University of the South or School of Theology. Am I eligible to apply?"
A – Ordained clergy of any Christian denomination with at least five years parish experience are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to mid-career parish clergy who have not been to Israel.
3. Q – "I am older than 55. I am younger than 35. I do not have 5 years of ordained pastoral experience. May I still apply?"
A – The program is designed for the vocational renewal of mid-career pastoral leaders. While the age ranges and experience level are not absolute, most successful applicants will fall within these ranges. If your age and experience level falls outside these ranges, but is close, you may apply – understanding that a clear preference will be given to mid-career pastoral leaders.
