The Advanced Degrees Program (ADP) is designed to increase professional knowledge in the practice of ministry for clergy. Classes during the summer build the relationship between the practice of ministry and biblical, historical, and theological studies by combining learning in community with a cycle of daily prayer and worship in the Anglican tradition. Degrees offered are a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min), with concentrations in preaching and liturgy, a masters of sacred theology (STM), and a masters of sacred theology in Anglican studies.
The 2014 session runs from June 9–27. This year’s courses feature professors from The School of Theology and some notable guest lecturers in the fields of homiletics and liturgy. Guest lecturers include Dr. Lauren Winner, assistant professor of Christian spirituality, Duke Divinity School, and Dr. Louis Weil, Hodges-Haynes Professor of Liturgics, Church Divinity School of the Pacific. Weil will also give two public lectures during the summer session.
