Webster to Lecture on Weddings and Funerals

The Rev. Ricmond Webster is the rector of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Birmaingham, Ala. He will give two lectures, Sept. 12 and 19, on weddings and funerals as evangelism. His lectures are part of The School of Theology's Dean's Forum.

A 1997 graduate of The Virginia Theological Seminary, Webster previously served as rector of St. John's, Decatur, Ala. A Bessemer native and a former Southern Baptist, Webster became an Episcopalian in college and was confirmed by Bishop Furman Stough at the Church of the Ascension in Montgomery, Ala. After seminary, Webster served as a curate at St. John's in Montgomery. Webster recently published two books, Snapshots of Hope, with Morehouse Publishing and God's Gifts: Stories from Saint Luke's.
