Bishop Gregg To Be in Residence

The Rt. Rev. William O. Gregg became the assistant bishop of North Carolina in 2007, coming from the diocese of Eastern Oregon where he was ordained and consecrated VI Bishop on Sept. 23, 2000.  Previously he served as rector of St. James Episcopal Church in New London, Ct. Gregg has served in the diocese of Virginia (where he was ordained deacon and priest) as a parish priest and chaplain/teacher at St. Anne’s-Belfield School in Charlottesville. He has also served in the dioceses of Southwestern Virginia, Northern Indiana, and Indianapolis. He attended the University of Notre Dame (Ph.D., ’93, Systematic Theology) and received his M.Div. from Episcopal Divinity School, Cambridge, Ma.
