Dr. Brosend is a priest of the Episcopal Diocese of Kentucky and serves as Professor of Homiletics. Brosend divides his research and writing interests between homiletics and the New Testament. Along with denominational curriculum, academic papers, and articles for the journals Interpretation, Sewanee Theological Review, Congregations and The Christian Century, he is the author and co-author of five books, including Conversations with Scripture: the Parables and New Proclamation Commentary on Feasts, Holy Days and Celebrations. His most recent publication is The Preaching of Jesus. In addition to his work with The School of Theology, Brosend is currently also serving as the Executive Director for the Episcopal Preaching Foundation.
