The programs center at The School of Theology is offering two new opportunities to strengthen your ministry.
VocationCARE is an arrangement of contemplative, conversational, and design practices for adults of all ages, either as individuals or in small groups. The learning can be easily used for personal and/or collective discernment and can also be used to create new ministry projects and programs.
The programs center at The School of Theology is excited about a new training opportunity available in the upcoming year. A VocationCARE training will be offered, March 11–14, 2014, in Sewanee. Designed for those who want to train others to use the CARE practices, this three and one half day immersion will enable participants to bring those practices to their own ministries and be the first step toward being certified as VocationCARE trainers through the programs center. Space in each course is limited, so early enrollment is encouraged.
Emerging Leaders Conference
The Emerging Leaders Conference, April 8–11, 2014, will be the first annual gathering in Sewanee of emerging church leaders of all ages and backgrounds who will participate in a visioning process for the Church. Activities include the sharing of stories and mutual learning about innovative ministries in a wide variety of contexts. Enrollment is limited to 40 participants.
