University Employment
Seminarians and spouses may participate in “work-study” at the School by assisting staff and faculty with various projects and assignments. Work-study students are paid for their time.
There are a significant number of spouses in the Sewanee community who work outside of the home. They may work in Sewanee, commute to a job outside of Sewanee, or decide to stay at their current job and not move with the seminarian to Sewanee, thus rendering the seminarian “geographically separated” while they are in school.
Hiring for non-teaching positions at the University is handled through University Office of Human Resources. You may access descriptions of non-teaching job openings on the website. The Dean of the College’s office handles all college faculty positions.
